Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

C.B.T. is a short term psychotherapy treatment in which negative patterns of thoughts about self and the world are challenged by a Mental Health Counselor in order to alter unwanted behavior patterns.

Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention Therapy

C.B.I.T. is used for resolving and managing Tic urges and behaviors such as skin picking.

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing

E.M.D.R. is a type of psychotherapy that is used to alleviate emotional and physical distress associated with traumatic memories.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is an alternative treatment to create a state of hyper focus to increase suggestibility where positive suggestions and guided imagery are used by a Mental Health Counselor to treat individuals with a variety of concerns. Examples such as Smoking cessation, stopping bad habits, alcohol management, eliminating phobias, improving self confidence, managing anxiety, self-exploration, and managing stress are just some of the concerns that can be treated.
